REGISTRATION & "STAMP PANELS in 3 locations throughout the festival: Dee Fabian Fine Art, 142 West First Street Salida, CO 81201, 719-207-4223, Rock Run Gallery, 902 S. Main Street, Buena Vista during gallery hours, 719-221-9398 and Art Matters Gallery, 119A East 1st St, Salida. This is a Salida Day and artists are encouraged, but not required to paint anywhere in downtown Salida, or the river area near downtown. We would like visitors or patrons to be able find us on the kick-off day of the festival.
Social meet-up starts at 6pm, location TBA.
Sunday, September 16

Monday, September 17
REGISTRATION & "STAMP PANELS continues. Artists should paint at the designated Land Trust area. Reception for Land Trust patrons held at Dee Fabian Fine Art. Awards given. 20% goes to Land Trust.
Tuesday, September 18
REGISTRATION & "STAMP PANELS continues. Possible oil painting workshop TBA. Artists paint anywhere in the Upper Arkansas River Drainage from Leadville to Cotopaxi in full fall color. Keep an eye out for their easels.
REGISTRATION & "STAMP PANELS continues. This is Buena Vista Day with an evening reception at Rock Run Gallery, 902 South Main St. Artists paint anywhere around Buena Vista. Keep an eye out for their easels.
Thursday, September 20
REGISTRATION & "STAMP PANELS continues. Artists canpaint anywhere in the Upper Arkansas River Drainage from Leadville to Cotopaxi in full fall color. Keep an eye out for their easels. OR
Optional WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP WITH NORA BUSHONG LARIMER. Nora was Best of Show winner for Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival, 2008, and signature member of MOWS and TWS. Nora will offer a 4-hour plein air watercolor workshop, 8:00am - 12noon, during this year's event on September 23. Nora will start with a demonstration on technique and design and then give individual suggestions to participants. All levels welcome. Location will be near Buena Vista. Friday, September 21
Artists must have their work turned into Dee Fabian Fine Art, 142 West First Street, Salida by 1pm to prepare for the final reception. Each artist is allowed 3 pieces.
Reception is from 5-8:30 pm. Judging by Buffalo Kaplinski of Colorado Springs. Awards and prizes given.
Saturday, September 22
Show continues. Artists may pick up their paintings no earlier than 5pm.
