Introducing the 3rd Annual Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival

Exhaust Your Palette !
Ranging from the peaks of the Fourteeners through the rapids of the Arkansas to the
historic towns of Buena Vista and Salida, this spectacular autumn painting festival
promises to be fun, colorful, and lively.

The festival will take place in Chaffee and Fremont Counties and run from Thursday, September 16th
through Sunday, September 26th, 2010.

Registration begins on the 16th and continues throughout the festival in both Salida (Art Matters Gallery) and in Buena Vista (Rock Run Gallery) The first paint-out is at The Salida Cafe (next to the panoramic Arkansas River) on Sept. 18th. The 19th includes a paint-out at the Buena Vista Farmer's Market (at the historic Turner Farm).

Two workshops will be given on September 20th. Nora Larimer will teach in watercolor (Buena Vista) and Susan Mayfield (Salida) will teach in pastels.
